Representative Matters
Obtained defense verdict in a highly publicized jury trial of wrongful death/survival and negligence claims against a retailer that had sold a semi-automatic handgun to a man who later used it in a shooting rampage at the Tarrant County courthouse. The plaintiff victims sought over $30 million in damages.
Obtained a nominal settlement in a dram shop claim involving a major sports and arena vendor for injuries resulting from an altercation on the premises.
Represented pharmacists in mass tort/pharmaceutical litigation involving VIOXX and Baycol.
